The local characters turn out in force to bid a farewell to the hall, like patsy the hall caretaker, who patrols the aisle to make sure there is notrhing dirty going on, Sheamie the builder who comes in to demolish the place and dympna the air hostess who lives on in sheamies dreams as one of his more memorable flights.
