Five children discover from Shen the Dragon that they are spirit warriors, on a quest to find twelve spirit pieces - if they fail, the evil Li will find them and then control the universe! In search of the snake spirit piece, Bo is gravely injured. She, Martin and Trix rest in an old hut where they are tended to by a mother and daughter. But what or who caused Bo's injury? And who is the strange young man that Vicky falls for when she and Jen seek shelter in a graveyard?
