Their shared chemo sessions deepen Amalia and Micah's bond. The consummate surgeon, Amalia insists on returning to the operation room as soon as possible, despite suffering from the chemo's side effects. Micah's daughter, Maayan, returns home to support him during his treatment. However, her arrival is overshadowed by her American girlfriend's arrest due to her connection to a Palestinian leader. This throws Micah's campaign into crisis mode. Meanwhile, Amir's care blurs the lines and confuses him and Amalia. Complicating matters, they also have Ella's pregnancy to deal with, as their daughter moves in with Adi and has decided against an abortion. In a heated family argument, Amalia lashes out at Ella and Adi. Later that night, Ella finds out Adi's shocking secret.
